Who we are

Papillon (pronounced pah-pee-yohn) is the French word for butterfly—a timeless symbol of transformation, renewal, and the extraordinary power to rise above adversity. At Papillon Energy, we believe that just as energy can shift from one form to another, so too can our world evolve toward a cleaner, more sustainable future. We are proud to partner with visionary companies that are reshaping how energy is generated, stored, and delivered.

For Mujinga, this journey is also deeply personal. In her father’s native Tshokwe language, Mujinga means caterpillar. Her mother used to say that one day, she would become a butterfly. Papillon is more than a name—it’s a promise. A promise that transformation is possible, and that from humble beginnings, something truly beautiful can emerge.
